Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA)

Join Q & M Malaysia as a Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA) and support our dental surgeons in providing professional, patient-focused care. Training will be provided, making this role ideal for entry-level candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with inquiries, both in person and by phone, in a prompt and courteous manner
• Register patients for scheduled appointments and walk-in treatments
• Manage patient checkout, including dispensing medication, collecting payments, and arranging follow-up appointments
• Process payments accurately via cash, e-payment, cheque, or card
• Record consultation fees, treatment charges, and product sales accurately in the system
• Issue receipts, tax invoices, and medical certificates through the clinic system
• Maintain accurate and well-organized patient treatment records
• Ensure the clinic environment remains clean and orderly at all times
• Receive, inspect, and store clinic supplies from approved vendors
• Assist dentist(s) during treatments as required
• Maintain dental equipment and instruments in proper working condition
• Ensure treatment rooms are consistently clean and organized
• Coordinate the sending, receiving, and monitoring of laboratory cases
• Perform specific medical tests on patients as instructed

Requirement

• Minimum qualification: SPM
• Languages required: English and Bahasa Malaysia
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended hours
• Not afraid of blood or saliva
• Well-groomed, professional, and cheerful disposition
• Willing to work six (6) days per week on rotational shifts
• Able to work within clinic operating hours (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
